A few USD 383 school board members on Wednesday reflected on a recent anti-ICE post on social media by president Jayme Morris-Hardeman.

Morris-Hardeman earlier this month had commented on a friend’s post “Thank you for being an amazing support for all our students. And F*** ICE.” Some people criticized her choice of words or her overt political stance, while many others signaled support.

The board did not propose or take any action on the issue — the board members who spoke did not explicitly refer to the post.
