
Manhattan High boys’ golf placed sixth at the Class 6A state tournament Tuesday and Wednesday at Firekeeper Golf Course in Mayetta, while sophomore Charlie Haney finished state runner-up after a dramatic playoff loss.
“It was an awesome experience,” Haney said. “I really enjoyed, spending time with my teammates. It was awesome to be able to make Day 2 and play with them. That way you have something more to play for than rather just yourself, you have the Manhattan logo on your on your shirt. That was a lot of fun.”
