A Fort Riley soldier was arrested Tuesday on a charge of involuntary manslaughter.

Gage Kaiser was arrested on a Sedgwick County District Court warrant by Geary County Sheriff’s Deputies just before 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Kaiser is charged in this case with one count of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of aggravated battery.

Kaiser serves on Ft. Riley and has been on the base since Jul. 2022 and is an Army Infantrymen.

KMAN reached out to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office for further details on the case and have yet to hear back. The story will be updated when more information becomes available.
