FRANKFORT — Playing four sports at an extremely high level is something few can do. Playing two at the same time at an all-state level, that’s a near-impossible feat. But somehow, Frankfort’s Carter Olson makes it look effortless.

For that reason, in addition to winning an individual state championship in track and field, and helping revitalize a baseball program that’s laid dormant for six decades, Olson is The Mercury’s Spring All-Flint Hills Male Athlete of the Year.
