Every two years, change comes to Fort Riley’s leadership posts during the summer.
This year was no different. First, Maj. Gen. Monte Rone took over the commanding general position for the 1st Infantry Division from Maj. Gen. John Meyer.
And then, Col. Gerald Nunziato became the post’s garrison commander, replacing Col. Michael Foote.
