A Fort Riley man was injured Friday in a Dickinson County crash.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says Junction City and Chapman police were in pursuit of 28-year-old Jordan Rhynes, just after 11:30 a.m. in a rural area south of K-18 near Chapman. The bike struck a Chapman Police Department vehicle, driven by 45-year-old James Reynolds, who was not injured.
Rhynes was transported to Stormont Vail in Junction City with minor injuries. He’s currently being held in the Geary County Jail without bond on a felony charge of flee and elude and a misdemeanor reckless driving charge.
Authorities have not said what prompted the pursuit.
