K-State and Fort Riley officials celebrated the renewal of the long-standing partnership between the two entities Thursday.

President Richard Linton, Garrison Commander Gerald Nunziato and Major Gen. Monté Rone signed an intergovernmental support agreement to make it official.

The new agreement will extend over 10 years, and will focus on research, training and education, in addition to enhancing military spouse employment.
