Days after he was removed from K-State’s mens basketball program, Nae’Qwan Tomlin will take advantage of his remaining eligibility and play at Memphis.
The graduate transfer told On3 that he has committed to join the Tigers at the start of next semester. That follows a tumultuous week that included Tomlin being dismissed from the Wildcats and his graduation from K-State on Saturday.
Tomlin averaged 10 and six for the Wildcats last season but had been on indefinite suspension since the start of the season because of a fight in Aggieville that landed him in jail briefly and having signed onto a diversion agreement with prosecutors.
As for his now-former teammates, the Wildcats are off until Sunday when they host Nebraska.
