Riley County police have arrested a Dodge City man for a failure to appear in court on allegations he was distributing meth.

31-year-old Donnithan Jones was arrested Monday on a District Court warrant after missing a court date on a charge of distribution of meth within 1000 feet of a school and distribution of a controlled substance tied to use of a phone to solicit or attempt to sell between 35-100 grams of the drug.

For Jones, this marks another stint at the Riley County Jail, where earlier this summer he was accused of attempting to sell heroin while there.

He also had previously violated post-release orders in a separate drug distribution case where he spent over two years in various state prisons.
