A Dickinson County man was arrested on charges of child sex crimes over the weekend after a month’s long investigation by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
Stephen Gillenwater, 45, of Brostow, Oklahoma, was arrested on Saturday by the Abilene Police Department on an arrest warrant related to this case that began back in March on a tip regarding sexual exploitation of a child.
Gillenwater is charged with aggravated indecent liberties with a child, electronic solicitation of a child, sexual exploitation of a child and aggravated endangerment of a child. His bond is unknown at this time. He remains in the Dickinson County Detention Facility as of this report.
