Riley County commissioners on Monday approved a list of capital improvement projects for this year.

Commissioners adjusted the list before approving it, removing some items to focus on facility improvement.

The list, which originally had 48 capital improvement requests, included an ambulance remount for emergency medical services costing $303,442, a new fire alarm panel costing $26,500 and a cooling tower pump for the courthouse costing $30,000.emoved from the list the Pottorf Hall building foundation, the health department’s electronic medical records replacement, tax and accounting software, a hydraulic trailer and a cab pickup for the public works department.
