COUNCIL GROVE — Some players change a game from the batter’s box. Others do it from the mound. Reid Buttrey changed games from both.

The Council Grove junior emerged as one of the region’s most complete baseball players in 2026, helping guide the Braves to a 26-2 record and a state tournament appearance while starring both at the plate and on the mound.
