Geary County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Council Grove man on a slew charges late Tuesday afternoon.
42-year-old Jason Oder was arrested in the westbound lane of I-70 just before 5:00 pm. Oder is charged with single counts for theft of a motor vehicle, burglary and criminal damage to property. Oder was also charged with failure to appear in Saline County District Court.
Oder has a lengthy criminal record according to the Kansas Department of Corrections. He has been arrested over a dozen times for a slew of crimes such as theft, possession of drugs and obstructing justice.
Oder is still awaiting a bond hearing at this time.
