Manhattan City Commissioners will consider a pair of resolutions tonight including one involving the 2024 budget.

City staff are proposing an intent to levy a property tax exceeding the revenue neutral rate and setting a public hearing related to that. The current neutral rate is 47.613 and commissioners will decide whether to increase the levy to 50.470 mills.

Commissioners also tonight will consider a policy manual resolution related to the use of city logos and Johnny Kaw’s name, image and likeness. The consideration comes after a production company asked to feature Johnny Kaw on a TV show.

Commissioners meet at 6 p.m. at Manhattan City Hall.
