A former Manhattan chiropractor pleaded not guilty to 63 counts of sex crimes in Riley County District Court on Monday.

Sixty-five-year-old Clark Petersen, who owned the now-closed Petersen Chiropractic in Manhattan, was charged in August 2023 with counts ranging from rape to aggravated sexual battery for offenses between 2017 and 2022.

Petersen and his attorney, Nicholas Heiman, requested a speedy trial, which Judge Grant Bannister granted, giving the defense 45 days to file that request with the court.
