It’s cut day in the NFL as all teams must trim their rosters to the league max 53 players by three this afternoon. A handful of teams made their cuts yesterday, but the Kansas City Chiefs weren’t among them.

One player who won’t be on that list today, wide receiver Kadarius Toney. The NFL Network is reporting that the team is optimistic that Toney will be ready for the season opener a week from Thursday. He’s missed training camp with a torn meniscus.
