Riley County Police are investigating a case of criminal damage to property after a cello was reported damaged on a Manhattan school bus.
Officers filed the report Sept. 25 around 6:17 p.m. in the 200 block of 5th Street. Police said a 42-year-old woman reported that her daughter’s cello had been damaged by an unknown suspect. The total loss was estimated at $2,000.
Anyone with information can contact RCPD or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Tips submitted through Crime Stoppers allow callers to remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
