Wamego dominantly opened the 2026 season, rolling past Clay Center 35-7 behind a record-setting performance from senior receiver Reed McDiffett.
McDiffett hauled in nine passes for a school-record 271 yards and three touchdowns, while quarterback Logan Fulton completed a big night of his own with 340 passing yards and four touchdowns.
