Rock Creek baseball, coming off a 4A state championship last spring, is currently positioned seventh in 4A East standings.

The Mustangs (9-4) picked up a split in a pair of low-scoring affairs over the weekend against Concordia. Then, on Tuesday, Rock Creek’s offense came alive with 10-0 and 18-1 wins for a sweep of Chapman.

In the Mustangs’ lone win over Concordia, sophomore Brock Lubbers tossed a complete game, allowing just five hits and three runs. He fanned nine batters while giving up just one free pass.
