A woman said she was trying to survive the night when a man she knew raped and beat her.
The woman, 29, testified Tuesday in Riley County District Court to a jury for the trial of Ricky Dunklin.
Dunklin, 30, St. George, is charged with rape, aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated domestic battery. All charges involve the same woman who Dunklin knew and stem from an incident in the early morning hours of May 1, 2021.
