Kansas State women’s basketball beat out a handful of elite programs to snag a five-star recruit Friday afternoon.
Jordan Speiser, the reigning Gatorade Missouri Player of the Year, committed to head coach Jeff Mittie’s program during her on-campus visit to Manhattan, picking the Wildcats over powerhouse schools like Connecticut, Iowa and North Carolina.
A 6-foot-1 guard from Warrenton, Missouri, Speiser is the No. 20 overall player in ESPN’s HoopGurlz rankings in the class of 2025. She is the second highly ranked class of 2025 recruit Mittie has picked up after 5-foot-11 four-star guard Aniya Foy — ranked 51st — committed to K-State in May.
