On October 27, 2024, officers responded to an incident in the 500 block of Rio Hondo Way, Manhattan, KS.
The incident reportedly occurred around 3:53 a.m., when a 23-year-old man was allegedly threatened at gunpoint by a 33-year-old suspect, Michael Calvert. According to the report, Calvert forced the victim to change locations and took his belongings.
Following the incident, Calvert was arrested on charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, and kidnapping. He is currently held at the Riley County Jail with a bond set at $200,000.
