
A Manhattan man was arrested Wednesday night in connection with a report of criminal damage to property and intimidation of a witness, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers filed the report at approximately 6:34 p.m. on Oct. 22. A 27-year-old woman was listed as the victim, and the suspect was identified as a 33-year-old man known to her.
Michael Brooks, 33, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 9:08 p.m. the same evening on charges of criminal damage to property and intimidation of a witness or victim. He was issued a total bond of $6,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
