A Manhattan man was arrested Friday afternoon at the Riley County Law Enforcement Center following a reported incident involving a law enforcement officer, according to the Riley County Police Department.

Officers filed a report at approximately 4:37 p.m. March 27th in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road, for battery on a law enforcement officer. A 20-year-old woman was listed as the victim, and a 27-year-old man was identified as the suspect.

Ronnie Summerset Jr., 27, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 6:03 p.m. on a charge of battery on a law enforcement officer.

Summerset Jr. was issued a total bond of $8,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
