A Conway Springs man is in trouble with the law following his arrest for failing to appear in Riley County District Court.

27-year-old Trevor Smith was arrested just after 4:30 p.m. Monday afternoon on a Riley County District Court warrant for failing to appear. The charge comes from original charge for distributing narcotics, marijuana, cannabinoids and doing so in a controlled facility.

Springs bond is set at $16,000 and he remains confined at the time of this report.

He has a previous drug distribution conviction, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections
