A manhattan man spent the weekend in jail after trying to break into a government building.

23-year-old Andrew Farklin is being held on a $250,000 bond after attempting to break into the Riley County Shop, located in the 6200 block of Tuttle Creek Boulevard.

Franklin was arrested around 6:30 a.m. Friday on counts of Burglary, Criminal damage to property, Aggravated Robbery, and armed robbery.

He remained in the Riley County Jail as of Sunday on the $250,000 total bond.
