A young man was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with two counts of aggravated battery with a weapon following an incident at Manhattan High School.

RCPD Officers reported that two men, ages 73 and 41, were battered with a pair of scissors by the juvenile on school property at 1:30 p.m.

The victims were treated for their injuries on-site and did not require transport to the hospital.

RCPD revealed that the juvenile was not being held at the Riley County Jail, but due to the age of the suspect, no other information would be released.
