Spiritbox Accidentally Drop – Then Pull – New Song

Fans got a surprise earlier today (March 3) when Spiritbox briefly released a new track, “Crystal Roses”, ahead of schedule. The song, from their upcoming album Tsunami Sea (out March 7), appeared on streaming services but was quickly taken down.

Vocalist Courtney LaPlante addressed the mix-up on social media, confirming it wasn’t meant to drop yet “I don’t normally like to air out behind the scenes things like this, but we did not approve putting out another single today. None of us were aware this was happening. I am extremely disappointed and only found out about it late last night, by chance. Trying to take it down asap.”

Despite the slip, excitement is higher than ever for the album’s release, following singles “Soft Spine,” “Perfect Soul,” and “No Loss, No Love.”

Wes Scantlin Blames Ex-Bandmate for Rocky Puddle of Mudd Show

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin is facing backlash after a chaotic performance at Daytona Bike Week (March 1), where fans reported sound issues and an impaired stage presence. Despite the band’s good intentions—raising $5,000 for St. Jude’s—the night took a turn as some fans walked out.

Scantlin later claimed in a fan-recorded video that he was “roofied” by former bassist Sean Sammon. Flipping double middle fingers before storming off Scantlin said “I suck, I suck and I suck … but I was roofied. My old bass player Sean Sammon roofied me last night, so he can go fuck his ass.”

Whether fans believe him or not, the controversy continues to follow Scantlin wherever he goes.
