Wet conditions caused a 3-vehicle crash on US-77 Sunday, about four miles south of Junction City.

The Geary County Sheriff’s Office says it happened just before 3:30 pm when a SUV, driven by Alleigh Swarts, of Manhattan, hyrdroplaned in the southbound lane and side swiped a northbound passenger car, driven by Keenan Sanger-Koepke, of Herington. After swiping the first car, Swarts then struck a northbound Chevy Silverado, driven by Travis Hiatt, of Manhattan.

Hiatt and other occupants in his vehicle were transported by EMS to Stormont Vail-Flint Hills for medical evaluation. The extent of their injuries wasn’t immediately available.
