Houston Street to see improvements starting at the end of February

Downtown Manhattan is continuing to see improvements made to the infrastructure thanks to initiatives from Downtown Manhattan, Inc.

Of note, Houston street will be receiving a complete over hall with an expected start at the end of February. Construction primarily will be taking place in the blocks between 3rd street and Houston and 5th street and Houston. Downtown Manhattan, Inc. Executive Director Gina Snyder:

The implementation of water and sewer lines north and south of Houston along 4th street are also expected during this “beautification project.”
