
Kansas 67th District Rep. Angel Roeser, Manhattan, was one of only four Republicans who voted Wednesday against a proposed amendment to the state constitution to make Supreme Court judges run for office in partisan elections.
Roeser voted no, according to public records, joining 36 Democrats and three other Republicans. Eighty-four Republicans voted in favor, including Megan Steele, who also represents part of Manhattan. Sydney Carlin, a Democrat from Manhattan, voted no.
