It seems Tool’s follow-up to 2006’s 10,000 Days is moving along after Tool finally settled a multi-year law suit last month. Adam Jones posted pictures and videos to Instagram to prove that’s true.

The first picture shows 10,000 Days engineer Joe Barresi behind a mixing board. The second posting is a video showing Adam Jones playing a “strange” string of notes, possibly giving us a taste of what’s to come.

In an interview in March, Adam Jones said there is one track finished and 10 still in the works.
