PHOENIX, Arizona — For a Kansas State season that’s taken twists, turns, hills, valleys and everything in between, it’s only fitting that the bowl game follow in similar fashion.

Trailing by as much as 17 midway through the third quarter, the Wildcats found a momentum and fight on both sides of the ball and rallied back to 44-41 victory. The bowl game was the highest scoring in school history.

The Wildcats ran the ball for a punishing 347 yards on 42 carries, led by sophomore Dylan Edwards who was named the Offensive MVP after scoring three touchdowns, two on the ground and one through the air, and rushing for 196 yards on 18 carries, blowing past his career-high.
