<p class="ai-optimize-6 ai-optimize-introduction">An officer with the Riley County Police Department is on administrative leave after he was arrested Wednesday on charges of unlawful computer acts.</p>
<p class="ai-optimize-7">Stephen Benjamin Clark, 42, of Manhattan, was arrested shortly before 5 p.m. at 1024 Lobdell Drive and issued a $4,000 bond. He was no longer confined as of Thursday&#8217;s arrest report. His arrest follows an RCPD investigation into a domestic related incident.</p>
<p class="ai-optimize-8">He was placed on administrative leave on Monday after a report was filed, listing a 36-year-old woman as the victim.</p>
<p class="ai-optimize-9">RCPD officials have refused to release any additional information about the arrest.</p>

This warrant stems from original charges of interference with law enforcement and possession of drug paraphernalia. <p class="ai-optimize-8">A Riley County Police Department Police Officer was arrested following an investigation into a domestic related incident.  On June 2, 2025, officers filed a report for unlawful acts concerning computers. A 36-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 42-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Stephen Clark, 42, of Manhattan was arrested on June 4, 2025, at approximately 4:56 p.m. for unlawful acts concerning computers.  Clark was issued a $4,000 bond and is no longer confined at the time of this report. On June 2, 2025, Clark was placed on administrative leave as per RCPD policy. To protect the privacy of the victim, additional information is not being released.</p>
