Riley County Planning and Development is encouraging the public to attend a community workshop in May. Public engagement is needed to help guide the comprehensive plan, regarding the future of land use between now and 2040. At Monday’s meeting, county officials heard about the work of the planning department with its Comprehensive Plan subcommittees, stakeholders and the small cities.
