Officers filed a report for theft in the 500 block of Augusta Way in Manhattan on June 28, 2025, at approximately 2:00 p.m. A 53-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took his Specialized Arial Disk bicycle and Northrock bicycle. Alyssa Smith, 24, of Manhattan was arrested for domestic battery. Smith was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for theft and criminal damage to property in the 900 block of Laramie St. in Manhattan on June 29, 2025, at approximately 3:33 p.m. A 32-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged then took his 2009 Kawasaki Motorcycle. The motorcycle was recovered on June 29, 2025. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $6,000.
