Officers filed a report of aggravated battery on March 13,2025,at approximately 9:37 AM in the 500 block of N. 9th Street. Officers report a male victim, age 22, was reportedly struck in the face with a blunt object by a known subject.

Officers filed a report of criminal deprivation of property on March 13, 2025, at approximately 8:48 PM in the 2300 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd.  Officers listed a 32-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a large vending machine belonging to the victim was taken by a known suspect. Total estimated loss associated with this report is $11,221.

The RCPD has provided updates on various incidents and arrests that occurred between January 18 and January 19, 2025.

Reported Incidents:

1. Non-Injury Accident
   • A non-injury accident was reported on January 18 at 2:48 p.m. at the intersection of N. 11th Street and Moro Street in Manhattan.
2. Disorderly Conduct
   • Officers responded to a disorderly conduct incident on January 19 at 2:13 a.m. in the 1100 block of Laramie Street.
3. Domestic Case
   • A domestic-related incident was reported on January 18 at 3:33 p.m. in Manhattan.
4. DUI Arrest
   • On January 19 at 1:57 a.m., a DUI incident occurred in the 1200 block of Bluemont Avenue.
5. Larceny Reports
   • Multiple thefts were reported, including:
     • DP Dough at 1120 Moro Street.
     • Walmart at 101 Bluemont Avenue.
     • Buckle in the Manhattan Town Center.
6. Warrant Execution
   • Officers executed a warrant on January 18 at 5:58 p.m. at the Manhattan Town Center.

Arrests:

1. Terrell Malik Miller
   • Arrested on January 19 at 2:18 a.m. in the 1200 block of Bluemont Avenue for driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol (first offense).
   • Bond was set at $750.
2. Eli Joseph Smith
   • Arrested on January 18 at 8:00 p.m. at the Manhattan Town Center.
   • Charges include:
     • Possession of an opiate, opium, narcotic, or certain stimulant ($4,000 bond).
     • Failure to appear ($1,500 bond).
     • Theft of property or services less than $1,500 with prior convictions ($5,500 total bond).
   • Smith remains confined in the Riley County Jail.

Officers filed a report of vehicle burglary in the 1600 block of Beechwood Terrace on December 4, 2024, at approximately 7:08 AM.  Officers listed a 24-year-old male as the victim when it was reported his vehicle was broken into overnight and military gear was stolen. Officers filed a report of fraud/theft by deception in the 300 block of Riley Ave. Officers listed Casey’s General Store as the victim when it was reported an unknown male and female used a “cash card” to obtain merchandise and lottery tickets but the card was fraudulent. Officers filed a report of rape in Manhattan on December 5, 2024. Due to the nature of this report, no other information will be released at this time.

Eugenio Damian, 40, of Manhattan, was arrested on December 4, 2024, at approximately 9:55 PM in the 000 block of Cody Place. Damian was arrested on the probable cause offenses of interference with an LEO, making false information, identity fraud, and forgery. Total bond was set at $16,000. Damian was confined at the time of this report.
