Officers in Riley County are investigating after reports were filed on Thursday for criminal damage to property.

Officers filed the report just after noon in the 1300 block of Pillsbury Drive in Manhattan. The victim in this case is Affordable Towing and they reported to police that an unknown subject damaged their metal fence resulting in a total loss of approximately $5,000.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.

Officers filed a report of an injury accident on January 7, 2025, at approximately 10:15 AM at mile marker 306 on Tuttle Creek Blvd. Officer report a 32-year-old female lost control of her vehicle on the ice. Roxanne Brown was transported by EMS to Via Christi for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Myles Vaughn, 32, of Manhattan, was arrested on January 7, 2025, at approximately 12:30 PM in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. Vaughn was arrested on the probable cause offenses of theft of property or services ($1,500- $25,000), forgery, and identity theft. Total bond was set at $20,000. Vaughn was confined at the time of this report.
