Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of N. 6^th Street and Laramie on August 4, 2025, at approximately 3:11 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found an electric scooter riden by Ashley Crow, 36, of Manhattan, was struck by truck. Jesse Brewer, 31, of Manhattan, was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon, interference with law enforcement and on three Riley County District Court warrants for three counts of violation of a court order. Brian Vestal, 52, of Ogden, was arrested on August 4, 2025, at approximately 11:04 p.m. on a Virginia Parole Board warrant. Vestal was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Keith Rea, 29, of Junction City, KS was arrested for violation of a protection order and aggravated burglary. Officers filed a report for theft in the 900 block of Moro St in Manhattan on July 18, 2025, at approximately 7:14 a.m. A 21-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took his 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Nicholas Chavez, 23, of Manhattan was arrested on July 18, 2025, at approximately 1:36 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on July 18, 2025, at approximately 3:43 p.m. A 17-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 19-year-old man known to her was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

Caleb Harris, 23, of Wichita, KS was arrested on July 18, 2025, at approximately 5:23 p.m. on two Sedgwick County District Court warrants for aggravated escape from custody and probation violation. Officers filed a report for aggravated battery, aggravated endangering a child, driving under the influence; 3^rd conviction, flee or attempt to elude, driving while license cancelled/suspended/revoked, and failure to stop at accident. A 2-year-old girl, and two 1-year-old boys were listed as the victims and a 23-year-old man was listed as the suspect when it was reported the suspect operated a vehicle while intoxicated, fled from police, crashed the vehicle then fled the area. Mason Moon, 23, of Manhattan was arrested for three counts of aggravated battery, three counts of aggravated endangering a child, driving under the influence; 3^rd conviction, flee or attempt to elude, and failure to stop at accident. Moon was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Kamron Tucker, 23, of Lawrence, KS was arrested on July 18, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated battery. This stems from an original report filed on March 26, 2025. Tucker was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.

This warrant stems from reports filed in December 2024 and January 2025. Painter was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail.

Quindale Jackson, 43, of Kansas City, MO was arrested on July 20, 2025, at approximately 5:53 p.m. on a Miami County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Jackson was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report. Additionally, Jackson was arrested at 7:34 p.m. on a Kiowa County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Jackson was issued a total bond of $1,500 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Quintin Daniels, 20, of Junction City, was arrested on March 8, 2025, at approximately 10:20 PM in the 1100 block of Moro Street. Daniels was taken into custody on several charges, including domestic battery, criminal damage to property, battery on a law enforcement officer (LEO), and interference with an LEO. His total bond for these charges was set at $6,000.

Daniels was later arrested again on the same day at approximately 5:13 AM in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. He was charged with battery on an LEO for this second arrest, and his bond for this offense was set at $15,000. Daniels was confined at the time of the report.

A Manhattan man was arrested Sunday after picking up multiple charges.

Officers arrested Daniel Brassill, 45, just prior to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon in the 800 block of Fremont Street. Brassill is charged in this case with four counts of violating a protection order.

Bond has been set at $12,000 in this case. He remains confined at the time of this report.
