Officers filed a report of a stolen vehicle trailer on February 10, 2025, at approximately 2:19 PM in the 1100 block of Thurston Street.  Officers listed a 77-year-old male as the victim when it was reported his red, flatbed, single axle, 10′ trailer had been taken by an unknown subject. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $1,945. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Officers filed a report of theft by deception on February 10, 2025, at approximately 3:06 PM in the 2300 block of Tuttle creek Blvd.  Officers list Dara’s Fast Lane as the victim when it was reported an unknown subject called the store posing as a US Marshall coercing the clerk into taking money to send to them. Total loss associated with this report is $1,145. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Trenton Richerson, 23, of Marysville, was arrested on February 10, 2025, at approximately 12:50 PM in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road.  Richerson was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Total bond was set at $25,000. Richerson was confined at the time of this report.

Joshua Downey, 28, of Manhattan, was arrested on February 10, 2025, at approximately 5:13 PM at the corner of Walters Drive and Mission Ave.  Downey was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Total bond was set at $25,000. Downey was confined at the time of this report.

Accidents and Traffic Incidents:

The Riley County Police Department responded to a series of traffic-related incidents on February 7 and February 8, 2025.

• A non-injury accident occurred on the 1100 block of North 3rd Street on February 7 at 10:38 AM.
• Another accident was reported on Woodland Street & Anderson Avenue around 1:00 PM on February 7.
• A third accident occurred near Fancy Creek Rd & Tuttle Creek Blvd in Randolph at 9:46 PM on February 7.
• Several other traffic-related incidents, including traffic stops and property findings, were also reported, including a traffic stop on North 16th St & Anderson Ave at 9:55 PM on February 7.

Arrests Made:

Riley County Police reported several arrests on February 7 and 8, 2025:

1. Matthew Christman (22, Manhattan, KS) was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 2:24 AM on February 8. His bond is set at $750.
2. Josie Delgado Hernandez (42, Manhattan, KS) was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. She was taken into custody at 10:01 PM on February 7. Her bond was set at $308.
3. Isaiah Michael Pipkin (23, Manhattan, KS) was arrested for criminal trespass after remaining in defiance of an order from the property owner. He was arrested on the 1800 block of Clafin Road on February 7 at 9:48 PM. His bond is set at $500.
4. Eugene Milton (65, Manhattan, KS) was arrested on a probation violation at 6:05 PM on February 7. He was confined at the Riley County Jail with a bond of $1,500​
