The Riley County Police Department on Monday confirmed former officer Stephen Benjamin Clark was fired from the department.

Maj. Daryl Ascher said Clark was terminated after the completion of an internal review process.

Clark, 42, of Manhattan was arrested at 4:56 p.m. on June 4 at 1024 Lobdell Drive following an RCPD investigation into a domestic incident. He was charged with one felony count of unlawful computer acts and given a $4,000 bond. He was no longer held in jail the next morning.

An officer with the Riley County Police Department is on administrative leave after he was arrested Wednesday on charges of unlawful computer acts.

Stephen Benjamin Clark, 42, of Manhattan, was arrested shortly before 5 p.m. at 1024 Lobdell Drive and issued a $4,000 bond. He was no longer confined as of Thursday’s arrest report. His arrest follows an RCPD investigation into a domestic related incident.

He was placed on administrative leave on Monday after a report was filed, listing a 36-year-old woman as the victim.

RCPD officials have refused to release any additional information about the arrest.
