The RCPD reported 18 incidents and nine arrests in Manhattan over the weekend.

Officers arrested 28-year-old Halloween Cruz Reyes of Manhattan early Sunday in the 200 block of S. 11th Street for driving under the influence, his third conviction in 10 years. He also faces charges of interference with law enforcement, driving while suspended, and violating license restrictions. His bond was set at $1,500.

Another DUI arrest occurred just after midnight Sunday, when Kansas State University Police arrested 25-year-old Greyson Brian Hardesty of Salina on Mid-Campus Drive. He was issued a $750 bond. Police also arrested 28-year-old Riley Eugene Perrine of Manhattan Saturday morning for DUI. His bond was set at $1,500.

Other arrests included 25-year-old Christopher Shawn Larsen of Manhattan, who was jailed Saturday afternoon on charges of burglary, violating a protection order, and trespassing. He remains confined without bond. Police also arrested 46-year-old Joseph Elias Trejo of Manhattan for criminal deprivation of a motor vehicle, with bond set at $2,000. Additional arrests over the two days included cases of probation violation, shoplifting, and domestic battery.

Among reported incidents, officers responded to an injury crash just after midnight Sunday on Ehlers Road. Non-injury crashes were reported Saturday afternoon near Target and on West 68th Avenue. Reports also included forgery cases on Farmingdale Court, a stolen vehicle from Colonial Gardens Mobile Home Park, trespassing at a Bluemont Avenue apartment, and a welfare check at the Aggieville parking garage late Saturday night.

The Riley County Police Department reported six arrests, several traffic-related incidents, and a number of public disturbances across Manhattan in the past 24 hours.

Among those arrested was 19-year-old Connor Kenneth Baer of Manhattan, who was taken into custody at Dirty Dawgs Saloon on charges of criminal damage to property valued between $1,000 and $25,000 and consumption of liquor by a minor. Jonah Michael White, 18, of Wamego, and Cyren Victoria Hearron, 18, of Manhattan, were arrested in separate DUI incidents, both suspected of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Police also arrested 34-year-old Bardarius Nakia Jiles of Fort Riley for disorderly conduct and interference with law enforcement at the Bluemont Scenic Overlook. In another case, Kasiem Tyrone Walker, 33, of Junction City was arrested for violating a protection order at Shop Quik on Scenic Landing. Damond Tirial Russell, 24, of Manhattan, was picked up on a warrant for failure to appear.

Incident reports included an injury accident at 1834 Claflin Road and several non-injury crashes throughout the day, with scenes ranging from Allison Avenue to Tuttle Creek Boulevard. Officers also responded to a stolen vehicle report in the 2300 block of Tuttle Creek Boulevard, a fight at Dirty Dawgs Saloon, and a verbal argument near the Bluemont Scenic Overlook sign.

Officers filed a report of a stolen vehicle on February 3, 2025, at approximately 7:46 AM in the 2100 block of Prairie Glen Place.  Officers listed a 25-year-old male as the victim when it was reported his 2001 Ford Escape was stolen by an unknown subject. The vehicle was spotted and recovered later that afternoon. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.
