Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property and aggravated assault in Manhattan on Sept. 21, 2025 at approximately 10:39 a.m. A 31-year-old man was listed as the victim and a 22-year-old woman was listed as the suspect.

Officers filed a report of aggravated domestic battery and criminal damage to property in Manhattan on Sept. 21 at approximately 1:35 a.m. A 23-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 23-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Joseph Snitker, 23, of Manhattan, was arrested for aggravated domestic battery and criminal damage to property on Sept. 21 at approximately 2:29 a.m. Snitker was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Howard Amos, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested on Sept. 20 at approximately 3:57 p.m. in the 800 block of Colorado Street on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear and a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. This arrest stems from original charges of domestic battery and criminal trespass. Amos was issued a total bond of $14,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report of aggravated battery near intersection of Manhattan Avenue and Freemont Street on Sept. 20 at approximately 2:29 a.m. An 18-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect battered him and fled. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Quamir Davis, 21, of Junction City, was arrested on Sept. 19 at approximately 3:15 a.m. near Anderson Avenue and Wickham Road on a Geary County District Court warrant for probation violation. Davis was issued no bond and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for attempted burglary and criminal damage to property in the 700 block of Laramie St in Manhattan on July 16, 2025, at approximately 10:48 a.m. A 45-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were listed as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged their door. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Natalya Bronaugh, 24, of Manhattan was arrested on July 16, 2025, at approximately 1:20 p.m. for a Riley County District Court warrant for violation of court order. Bronaugh was issued a total bond of $10,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.

Dylan Smith, 34, of Manhattan was arrested on July 16, 2025, at approximately 3:26 p.m. for a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Smith was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Macaiah Anderson, 23, of Manhattan was arrested on July 16, 2025, at approximately 3:31 p.m. for a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This warrant stems from an original offense of two counts of distribute opiate/opium/narcotics/stimulants within 1000 feet of school property. Anderson was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 600 block of S Seth Child R. in Manhattan on July 16, 2025, at approximately 8:50 pm. Home Depot was listed as the victim when it was reported a 65-year-old man and a 54-year-old man took multiple tools. The tools were later recovered in Shawnee County, Kansas. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $5,559.

An officer with the Riley County Police Department is on administrative leave after he was arrested Wednesday on charges of unlawful computer acts.

Stephen Benjamin Clark, 42, of Manhattan, was arrested shortly before 5 p.m. at 1024 Lobdell Drive and issued a $4,000 bond. He was no longer confined as of Thursday’s arrest report. His arrest follows an RCPD investigation into a domestic related incident.

He was placed on administrative leave on Monday after a report was filed, listing a 36-year-old woman as the victim.

RCPD officials have refused to release any additional information about the arrest.
