Jessica Urbina, 20, of Manhattan, was arrested on January 29, 2025, in the 300 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. Urbina faces charges of possessing and using drug paraphernalia with intent to introduce into the human body, as well as two counts of possession of opiates, opium, narcotics, or certain stimulants.

Urbina was arrested at approximately 4:59 PM and taken into custody. Her bond was set at $5,000, and she remains confined in the Riley County Jail as of this report.

Jesse Brewer, 31, of Manhattan, was arrested on January 29, 2025, in the 1300 block of Laramie Street. Brewer faces a range of serious charges, including trafficking contraband into a correctional facility, criminal damage to property, theft of property or services, and domestic battery. In addition, he was charged with possession of opiates, opium, narcotics, or certain stimulants.

His bond has been set at $16,500, and he remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Riley County Police are investigating the theft of a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe, which was reported stolen on January 28, 2025, at approximately 9:10 PM. The victims, two women aged 52 and 24, discovered the vehicle was missing from the 1600 block of Houston. The estimated value of the stolen vehicle is around $33,000.

Authorities are asking the public for any information that might lead to the identification of the suspect. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for tips that help solve the case.

On January 27, 2025, at approximately 7:53 AM, officers with the Riley County Police Department responded to a burglary report in the 600 block of Bluemont Ave. D&R Construction was listed as the victim after an unknown suspect gained access to a trailer and stole tools. The total loss from the burglary is approximately $2,265.

Authorities are seeking information related to the incident. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest or resolution of the case. Individuals can remain anonymous when submitting information.

A Manhattan man was arrested Sunday after picking up multiple charges.

Officers arrested Daniel Brassill, 45, just prior to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon in the 800 block of Fremont Street. Brassill is charged in this case with four counts of violating a protection order.

Bond has been set at $12,000 in this case. He remains confined at the time of this report.

A local woman is behind bars following her arrest on Tuesday evening arrest in Manhattan that includes charges for battery on law enforcement and domestic battery.

Police arrested Asia Foster, 32, just prior to midnight in the 500 block of Yuma Street. Foster has been charged in this case on two counts of battery of a law enforcement on duty along with single counts of sexual and domestic battery and interference with law enforcement.

Bond has been set in this case at $10,000 and Foster remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
