Joseph Hodges, 50, of Manhattan, was arrested on July 10, 2025, at approximately 3:51 p.m. at 1001 S. Seth Child Road for a no-bond Pottawatomie County warrant on failure to appear. Hodges is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Christopher Sims, 33, of Junction City, KS, was arrested on July 10, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza on a Riley County District Court warrant for criminal threat. Sims was issued a total bond of $8000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Edward Wright, 29, of Junction City, KS, was arrested on July 5, 2025, at approximately 10:03 a.m. in Geary County on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This warrant stems from the original charges of three counts of aggravated assault. Wright was issued no bond and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Philtasha Powell, 28, of Topeka, KS, was arrested on July 3, 2025, at approximately 11:35 a.m. in Shawnee County on a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for parole violation. This warrant stems from an original charge of theft. Powell was issued a total bond of $1,500 is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
