An Ogden man was arrested Tuesday morning in connection with a months-long investigation into fraudulent card use and computer-related crimes.

Riley County Police say the original report was filed July 27 around 2:12 p.m. in the 200 block of South Seth Child Road. The case involved criminal use of a financial card, theft of property or services and multiple computer unlawful acts.

On Nov. 18, officers arrested 28-year-old David DeJesus Roman in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road. He faces seven counts of computer unlawful acts, six counts of criminal use of a financial card and one count of theft of property or services.

DeJesus Roman was issued a total bond of $28,000 and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.

A Manhattan woman has been arrested following an investigation into a burglary and credit card misuse that occurred earlier this year.

Riley County police filed the original report on June 15, 2025, at approximately 7 p.m., listing Beto’s Meat Market as the victim. According to the report, a known individual unlawfully used a credit card at the business. The case involved allegations of burglary, theft of property or services, and criminal use of a financial card.

On Nov. 4, officers arrested Tiffany Fernandez, 43, of Manhattan, in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road. Fernandez was taken into custody on requested charges of burglary, theft of property or services, and criminal use of a financial card. She was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.

Bryan Painter, 38, of Manhattan, was arrested on August 3, 2025, at approximately 10:15 p.m. on a Geary County District Court warrant for identity theft and criminal use of a financial card. Painter was issued a told bond of $7,500 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 700 block of Pebblebrook Circle in Manhattan on August 2, 2025, at approximately 1:54 p.m. A 45-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole a table. Officers filed a report for theft in the 1500 block of University Drive in Manhattan on August 1, 2025, at approximately 11:09 a.m. A 20-year-old woman and 19-year-old man were listed as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect broke into their vehicle and stole a backpack and boots. Officers filed a report for theft in the 200 block of Poyntz Avenue in Manhattan on August 1, 2025, at approximately 9:49 a.m. The Downtown Farmer’s Market of Manhattan was listed as the victim when it was reported a 46-year-old woman took money. The estimated total loss with this case is approximately $6,000.

A Manhattan man is behind bars on numerous charges, including identity theft and criminal use of weapons.

Landon Bearce, 22, was arrested at the Riley County Police Department on a district court warrant for three counts of possession of stolen property with a value of less than 15 hundred dollars; theft by deception; the theft of $1,500 or less from three businesses in 72 hours; criminal possession of a weapon by a felon; two counts of burglary; criminal use of weapons; defacing identification marks on a firearm; the use/possession with the intent to use of drug paraphernalia; two counts of criminal use of a financial card; attempted theft by deception; four counts of unlawful computer acts; and four counts of identity theft.

Total bond was set at $50,000. Bearce was still confined in the Riley County Jail as of Friday morning.
