A Manhattan man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on multiple probation violation warrants stemming from theft and drug-related charges, according to the Riley County Police Department.

Conner Bruce, 21, of Manhattan, was taken into custody Sept. 30 at about 2:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza. Police said the arrest was based on four Riley County District Court warrants for probation violation.

The warrants stem from original charges that include four counts of theft and one count each of criminal deprivation of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempted theft and making false information.

Bruce was issued a total bond of $17,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Conner Bruce, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 17, 2025, at approximately 1:00 a.m. in the 1000 block of Osage Street, for interference with a law enforcement officer, failure to appear and criminal trespass. Bruce was issued a total bond of $5,750 and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Shawn Sinnott, 48, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 16, 2025, at approximately 10:10 a.m. at 1001 S. Seth Child Road, for breach of privacy. Sinnott was issued a total bond of $6,000 and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Jaeleon Efford, 18, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 17, 2025, at approximately 9:36 p.m. in the 600 block of N. 12^th Street on a Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated battery and aggravated robbery. Efford was issued a total bond of $60,000 and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Conner Bruce, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 17, 2025, at approximately 2:23 p.m. at 1001 S. Seth Child Road, for theft of property/services. Bruce was issued an original bond of $4000 that was increased to a total of $10,000 and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Kenneth Scott, 64, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 18, 2025, at approximately 2:54 p.m. in the 2000 block of Patricia Place, on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. The warrant stems from the original charge of possession of methamphetamine. Scott was issued no bond and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

George McGrew IV, 26, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 18, 2025, at approximately 9:24 a.m. in the 400 block of Walters Drive, on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. The warrant stems from the original charges of making false information, theft and theft by deception. McGrew IV was issued a total bond of $15,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.
