Kansas State football landed its first player out of the transfer portal this offseason Thursday night when former Oklahoma cornerback Jayden Rowe announced his commitment to the Wildcats on social media.

The 6-foot-2, 221 pound Tulsa native will have two to three years of eligibility after spending three years in Norman under former Wildcat player and coach Brent Venables.

Rowe redshirted in 2021 and played in three games in 2022 before missing the majority of the 2023 season because of an injury sustained in the season opener versus Arkansas State.
