One person was transported to the hospital Monday morning following a three-vehicle crash in Manhattan.

Riley County Police say officers responded around 11:28 a.m. Dec. 8 to the intersection of 11th Street and Bertrand Street. A 1999 Ford F-350 driven by 65-year-old Russell Thompson collided with a 2003 Chevrolet truck driven by 64-year-old James Posch in the intersection. The impact pushed Posch’s vehicle into a 2013 Toyota RAV4 driven by 20-year-old Korie Kirkwood.

Posch was transported to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries.

Police issued Posch a citation for failing to stop at a stop sign.
