Sammy Hagar said he would be open to rekindling his friendship with the Van Halen brothers…only if they reach out first.
Sammy said he won’t reach out first because he believes the Van Halen brothers would think he wants something or wants back in the band.
He would like his former bandmates to call him and set up a meeting. Hagar wants the guys to be friends at this point.
He also said he would never consider a reunion with Van Halen unless they bring back bassist Michael Anthony.
